„Soul of the World“ ist eine Tanz- und Theaterperformance, die von einem Team ukrainischer Künstler*innen auf der Grundlage von Beobachtungen entwickelt wurde, wie sich das kollektive Bewusstsein und Unbewusste in Krisenzeiten im Zusammenhang mit Natur- und Militärkatastrophen verändern kann.
An diesem Abend findet in der Dieselstrasse eine "open rehearsal" statt, zu der wir alle Interessierten herzlich einladen. Nach der Vorstellung findet ein offenes Gespräch mit den Künstler*innen statt.

Das Stück befasst sich mit Themen wie kultureller Entwicklung, Ritualen und der Interaktion von Persönlichkeiten in der Gruppe. Zentral ist dabei die sogenannte "Seele der Welt", die auf dem Konzept des kollektiven Geistes beruht. Der Höhepunkt der Performance ist die heroische Konfrontation mit den ewigen Antagonisten aller Zeiten und Völker - "Krankheit", "Krieg" und ihrem Anführer "Tod".
Das Stück arbeitet sich an philosophische Themen wie Harmonie und der der Fragestellung nach dem Sinn des Lebens ab und bietet dabei dem Publikum die Möglichkeit, darüber nachzudenken, wie wir die Welt um uns herum beeinflussen, was wir allein und was wir im Kollektiv tun können.

Der Eintritt ist frei, um Spenden wird gebeten. Die Spenden kommen der Arbeit des Ensembles zugute.

"Soul of the World" is a dance and theatre performance developed by a team of Ukrainian artists based on observations of how the collective consciousness and unconscious can change in times of crisis related to natural and military disasters. On this evening, a "work in progress" performance will take place in Dieselstrasse, to which we invite you all. After the performance there will be an open conversation with the ensemble.

This performance will deal with the themes of cultural development, ritualism, and the interaction of personalities in the group. Central to this is the so-called "soul of the world", which is based on the concept of the collective spirit. The performance will reach its climax in the process of heroic confrontation with the eternal antagonists of all times and peoples - "Disease," "War" and their leader "Death.

The performance will touch  on philosophical themes such as harmony and the questioning of the meaning of life, while offering the audience the opportunity to reflect on how we influence the world around us, what we can do alone and what we can do collectively.
